Colo

Colo in Nigerian pidgin English simply means crazy. There are lots of things that make us want to scream. Some would say that war made them Colo, others could say world poverty and hunger made them Colo, to still others corruption, and sometimes simply men who cheat on their wives or vice versa, drug addicts etc. The list is unending.There are a few things that make me Colo and numero uno at the top of my list is WAR RAPE! This isn't just about the killing of enemies during war, it is about stripping unarmed, unsuspecting people of their humanity, taking away all they have- joy, family, life...dignity. In the process, women and children are raped and killed, some who survive this arduous ordeal will have to live with the horrible prospect of being pregnant due to the callousness and idiocy of these non-human human beings! Having a child of such a brute will be the greatest curse known to humanity. Sadly, the list goes on since victims can contact STD's and even the grand father...

Children do not discriminate

On my home today sat a little cutie in his pram his glorious smile made his little chubby face glow the object of his attention... an old Chinese lady dressed in a long, over sized black coat hunched in a sitting position, she looked a tad overweight for her age her hair seemed to have lost its original colour-black in its place sat a mass of white silvery hair i could have sworn her hair shone under the intense blaze of the sun she had an old red scarf draped across her tender little frame it looked worse for wear, managing albeit hardly to hang onto the blend of cotton and wool the material was made from the large coat she wore looked a century older than the lady looked the bags under her eyes were moist and so big, it was a life of its own the wrinkles adorning her face was immense, Olay's anti-aging cream couldn't have made a significant difference her fingers as you would imagine were thin, sore and gangrenous but little baby chubby face didn't seem at all phased by t...
