George Floyd

Surely by now you've heard about the killings in the United States of America. My feelings of ancestry and connection with African Americans and in turn the African American struggle is simple, they are my sisters and brothers. I also used to have posts about the marginalization of black people, especially when they are killed and lynched by white Americans. I wonder sometimes, much like all social ills (corruption, child & human trafficking, rape, domestic abusers) how ingrained racism must be for some people. But I've had to remind myself that you cannot cry more than the bereaved. This is a Nigerian saying to say, that I have given the leadership on such matters to the people directly affected by it. I recognise that change must first start internally. I have taken this stance on Nigeria, Nigerian politics, Nigerian politicians...and by extension(due to my affinity) the struggles of African American's. I don't understand It and both issues break my heart. G...
